1. Official Forms are those specified in the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and found here: By rule, these forms must be used in all court districts. Courts cannot substitute their own versions of these forms. Rules 9009, 9029.
   
   
2. Procedural Forms are national court forms, but unlike the Official Forms, they "may" be used - they are not mandatory.
   
   
3. Local Forms are supported by individual courts and governed by local rules. Nationally there are thousands of local forms. The ones found below are those most commonly used in case opening.
