CM-ECF Background There once was a bankruptcy attorney who was interested in learning how to save time and money. Denny decided that he was going to see how he could possibly file his bankruptcy petitions over the internet. After much discussion with his local bankruptcy court, it was determined that they would have to hire and develop an entire online electronic case filing system, but that other agencies had done it before, so it was possible. Importing credit reports into your Bankruptcy2012™ software has been streamlined and is as simple as one click of the mouse. Importing into your bankruptcy software will give you a comprehensive, with appropriate data fields filled in, version of the credit report for your client. Then, there is the credit counseling for bankruptcy clients. They must undergo a financial management course prior to filing bankruptcy and then again after filing bankruptcy. There are a number of companies that provide this service, also compatible with your bankruptcy software program. Lastly, online client questionnaire service provided by Rapid Import. This simplified, online questionnaire will take your client step by step through an abbreviated bankruptcy to get the basic information regarding their situation, including the start to all assets, property and creditors. This can be used in addition to pulling a full credit report into your Bankruptcy2012™ software. In the end, Denny is proud of his persistence in getting bankruptcies to be streamlined in a way that makes it easier for attorneys and their staff to file cases, anytime, from anywhere. |
